State Arts funding cut by 88% from fiscal year 2008 but GA retains its Council on the Arts and therefore our NEA status, thanks in part perhaps to a spontaneous protest http://bit.ly/9ZncWS that Robin, Rowan and I and several friends attended Monday; the following day the State Senate voted and saved our federal status, but GA's support for the arts is still shameful, and we need more activism like this.
