Damn You Mean Rimbaud is Out?
Okay okay, so I am so unhip now I am just getting hip to the viral blog "Unhappy Hipsters." Funny, it seems though that most of the pictures come from Dwell magazine, and I know friends who were paid well to write (not shoot) for Dwell magazine. And getting paid well to write is a rare good thing. Is Dwell defunct now? I guess now that the economy has tanked, people in some of those fishbowl type condos are really gonna feel like fish (in poker terms that means "sucker"). Well of all the goofy names we have thought of for the kid, can now also cross off Rimbaud, ha, jeez, though we never considered it. It's been a Rimbaud week though. Again see creepy cool reanimated Rimbaud in a previous post below. And then see this pic (and flip through others) from Unhappy Hipsters. Again there needs to be a new term here, 'cause you use it enough and eventually it'll mean "cool" again in retrospect (think beatnik, yippie, hippie, punk). Should just say "douche" to differentiate and be done with it. Now that's cross generational.

hahaha, yeah douche. I have this dream of starting a magazine as the opposite of Dwell. Like messy and decrepit places. Like Edward Gorey's house(full of cats, piles of boxes of books, and ivey growing through the walls) would be the ideal, as opposed to some gussied up Ikea display (though when we go to Ikea, I do have this urge to run home and clean.... I'd call it 'Lurk' instead of dwell...unless someone can recommend something better.
HAHAHHAHA, yeah Douche. I have this idea for a magazine that would display houses that are the opposite of the DWELL idea. thinking Edward Gorey's house, a cluttered maze of cats, piles of boxes of books, and iey growing through cracks in the wall, would be the ideal. I'd call it LURK. We could hire Harmony Korine to find really compelling trailer parks....
Oh you got two versions, I guess it was supposed to publish one. Like the Harmony Korine addition. Go Lurk!
